The Greeks vs Turks, A Maritime Boundary Dispute

shocks

Elder Lister
This week the press reported about the EU president kunyimwa kiti when she went to meet Turkish president Erdogan. Issues that were discussed included this maritine boundary issue with EU member Greece
Just like Kenya and Somali, hawa Mediterranean neighbours have a maritime dispute, and just like Kenya and Somalia, the stakes are high coz of probable oil and gas riches under those waters.

The first thing you notice is the many Greek islands off the coast of Turkey, these were awarded to Greece after the Ottomans lost WW1.
The islands fuck up Turkey when it comes to Exclusive Economic Zone(EEZ) waters, ona hii map showing waters that the Greeks claim

The island of Meis (Kastellorizo) has an outsized influence on the Greek claim

The only thing holding Turkey back from forcefully asserting its claims are threats of trade sanctions by EU (its largest export market)

these guys have a very long history fighting about these things... the last roman empire.. the Byzantine empire was based in constantinople.. present day Istanbul.. they spoke and were greeks.. they had been there since before the creation of Islam.. they only fell to the ottoman turks in the 15th century

yep their's is an historical conflict, but hii ya juzi ya kunyimana kiti it was in bad taste, Turkey basically is landlocked, they need their neighbors more.
au nivile walikaziwa eu membership?, but they're not Europeans?

nashuku ni vile walinyimwa hiyo EU. membership.. what they and Morocco.. don't understand is that the EU would crumble by 0801 if any majority muslim country was granted membership..
part of Turkey is geographically in Europe

maasai bado huleta wafugo Nairobi wakipata ukame huko kwao.. lakini greeks pia wanafaa kulet go of the past.. hata wako na shida na present day Macedonia.. they want them to change the name of their country eti because the ancient Macedonia was a greek city state

Labda Turkey wants to bully its way into being a EU member? One thing Europeans have to be aware of is that Gadaffi's prophecy of Muslims slowly but surely as well as other people not indigenous to the continent will eventually have a huge say and influence..

Slippery arguement, whats your take on Israel - Palestine conflict
Eventual settlement will be a joint state with the political power in the hands of the more numerous Arabs while economic power is in the hands of the Israelis. A significant majority of millennials grew up seeing Jews as the oppressors and are more sympathetic to the Palestinian cause, hence the chance they will end up on top.

Europe demographics have been in decline for some time, the only way to reverse this is through immigration, past 2050, Europe might have a plurality of Africans and South Asians.
