I'm equally amazed that you can occasionally spin a coherent sentence, wonders never cease!

Uji is not my thing,
hiyo ni ya wazee, but a cuppa tea or coffee will do for now
The effect on the banning of consolidated cargo on taxes is that, KRA is now complaining of low revenue collection. That part of the economy has shrunk !
Tax collection has gone down since there's no business going on in down town area but even worse is that the import business has been deliberately driven back into the hands of a few wealthy people with access to capital and cheap bank credit.
How can you claim to support small businesses when you cut off their lifeline?
Most developed countries allow consolidated cargo to come in so what best practice are we following?
With regards to standards, what prevents the large importers from bringing sub standard products?
All that is required is for KEBS to set and enforce standards not the banning of consolidated cargo.
Before you froth in the mouth over EAC and Ugandan milk it may serve you better if you researched on UG milk production, how can a net milk importer, export milk?

What we're importing from UG is reconstituted milk from powder imported from europe, china and ord knows where else, countries which I'm fairly certain do not belong to the EAC.
So why would you expect adulation and not opprobrium for a prince whose citizens feel/ know that their pockets are hurting due to his poor policies?

NB All this happened pre covid so he can't use the pandemic as an excuse for the terrible decisions his regime has made.
