JPM's Approach to Corona was Scientific

Those who read Greek masterpieces like The Bacchae, and Shakespeare's Julius Caeser know why PJJM had to die; no one fights the gods and lives. They also know that those that wrestle with the gods have one common trait; hubris. Yet it is this hubris that leads to the growth of nations, even though it accumulates casualties along the way. Germany's technological supremacy and economic strength are attributed to Hitler's hubris, which manifested in intitutionalsed racism that targeted Jews because to rally a nation, there must be a common enemy to be fought. PJJM's main focus was to heave Tanzania out of the ravages of poverty, lethargy and corruption. He wasn't afraid to confront the oligarchs, the cartels and thieves who'd profited from Tanzanians' misery; he lived and worked for Tanzania.
PJJM has died a tragic hero. Tragic because while he acknowledged Covid-19, he did not embrace the conventional means of attempting to contain it as he knew Tanzania did not have the means or ability. To impose lockdowns, the Agri-based subsistence economy of TZ would have ground to a halt; the nation did not have adequate medical facilities to manage cases, flooding hospitals as a result of paranoia and panic. Those who do not bother to understand rudimentary facts about pandemics will claim that he wasn't scientific but PJJM was every inch scientific; understanding Tanzania's underbelly, he went straight to the fifth stage of the pandemic; those who will catch the disease will do so and those who survive will do so, then continue with life. The only problem is that he probably took no precautions because unlike many leaders, PJJM did not preach water and drink wine.
A tragic hero.
