The number of SMS that have been sent out so far are 4.5m out of which, a little under a half the number have been responded to.
Kenyans are urged to respond to the prompt SMS when they receive it. Issuance of Huduma Namba Card is free. Do not allow yourselves to be conned.

Second Round Registration
Elaborate measures have been instituted to allow for a second phase registration. They include capacity building of NRB and Civil Registration Service staff and civic education and publicity to members of public. The exercise kicks off next month and will be continuous thereafter.
Conclusion
The Government thanks the National Government Administrative Officers who have been quite supportive in helping to trace the cards’ recipients once delivered to respective sub-counties. The mass production of the Cards that began end of January, this year is at optimum and the Government targets to produce all cards by 31st December, 2021 as earlier envisaged.
