Fellow Kenyans, the economy has hit a nose dive and everyone is hurting for some chums. Lakini where do people get courage to walk around with large sums of money in this thug infested city?

How much is on you right now in paper money? Mimi niko na 400 kwa wallet and feel quite okay.

Mimi niko na 76 bob.
Na hakuna pesa ingine nimeficha anywhere, either MPesa or bank. Ziko zero zote.
76 bob is my current liquidity level.
 
Zangu kabla ya Covid, zimekwama kwa millenial debtors wawili.
Wacha ni wapigie simu saa hii niwapatie stress kidogo.

Leo in person, nina only noti moja ya 1k, ine za 100 na tatu za 50.
Total kwa kibeti ime raruka - Shillining 1, 550.
 
I have 8750 saa hii. Thinking about it, some of us come from communities where counting food, children, livestock and money is frowned upon. I find it difficult telling people how many bags of maize or number of chicken I have. Sii kujigamba but kuna time huwa na swing na 100k after a good deal. Nakuwa na like 20k on my person, 30k in a compartment ya gari ama chini ya mat na 50k kwa mpesa. Shida nikianza kutumia sijuwangi ni ngapi zimebaki mpaka nianze running low below 10k ndio akili inarudi.
