Nairobi: A much cleaner city

Been quite a while since I ventured out into the city and I'm amazed how much cleaner, organised and orderly our nation's capital is.

Kudos to Badi and fuak Sonko Chokosh.

As always, effidence is hereby attached and as you'll note, this isn't necessary the part of the city that would necessarily attract PR-driven attention.

Papa...do you know that as late as the '80s city council used to fumigate estates such as ololo, jeri, marish etc! Hatutasifu upuzi...people pay for these services...it's not a favour

I grew up in Nairobi when trash used to be picked by NCC and many services were working. I've also seen the city demise and I see no problem in acknowledging whatever little or much that's being done to restore the city's glory

Badala ya acknowledging the small positive changes, waKenya ni wale wale tu.. kazi ni kulia Lia kama kuku ikitaka kutaga mayai.
Progress is a slow process and it has to start in the CBD.
And to think it's the same Kenyans who will throw rubbish out of a ma3 window without a second thought.....
Usafi of any city is down to the inhabitants not the authorities.
But it's easier to blame sirikal ata mtoto akikojoa kwa kitanda blame Uhuru.
Nonsense..

Usafi iko because hakuna watu.
I was in town a few weeks ago and the usual busy streets were almost empty. I wonder how businesses are surviving especially zile reliant on human traffic on certain streets.
