1) Anyone promising him that he can pursue a degree with the grade is a conman. He has to take a diploma.
2) These colleges and polytechnics offer useless training that is only useful for training others the same useless knowledge.

So my advise is to have the guy take specialized courses. For example take him to Institute of Software Technologies (www.isteducation.com) to learn Oracle and Linux. Or Institute of Advanced Technology (www.IAT.co.ke) to learn Microsoft certifications. Those are surebets for the job market. Degree atasoma later for career growth.

Hizi courses kama Hana interest and passion to learn, are the most useless. Juu you cannot just sit and learn then go looking for a job, they are continuous, and so many sub-courses to add to every now and then...
