SUBJECT: SHOOTING INCIDENT
REPORT :OB NO. 02/04/01/2021 AT 0330HRS. It was reported by the Nairobi Control room that a Patient with a bullets wound had been rushed to Nairobi Hospital on 04/01/2021 at about 0200hrs. Officers from Kilimani Police Station rushed to the hospital and found that one Meru male adult namely Joel Ngubitu, Chief Sergent at Arms in Senate assembly of Kenya, informed the officers that he was driving from Meru to Nairobi and on reaching Thika Bidco area, on traffic jam, two people on board a motorcycle snatched his phone, and being a licensed fire arm holder, shot on air to scare the thugs but unfortunately shot himself on the left thigh injuring himself. He has been admitted at Nairobi hospital in stable condition. The fire arm was taken by his wife, who is a KDF officer for safe custody. Case PUI.
