It will now be illegal to sell alcoholic drinks in bottles of less than 750ml if Parliament approves proposed amendments in the Alcoholic Drinks Control Act.

The principal objective of this Bill is to deal with the menace of excessive drinking occasioned by the sale of very low quantities of alcoholic drinks.

The current minimum bottle size of 250ml has been blamed for fuelling alcohol consumption among the youth.

Used to buy @30 bob per bottle. Unauza @60 bob. Very quick money.
I think alcohol has the easiest money ever. Unanua ethanol in bulk, unaongeza maji na colouring na kupack kwa chupa. Unaweka label calling it "The Green Cat, Irish Whiskey" ama "Ground Rocket Rum" 😂😂😂😂😂 and you are in bsiness. By the time KeBs or KRA catches with you uko na billioni kadhaa kwa benki na kila mtu anashiba....................

And I blame this guy who promised that if we partook of his sherry, we will know why birds fly! @Field Marshal

One of my all time heroes (except kwa ile part ya kupigilia wanaume wengine six-inch nails kwa kichwa). Dude was carefree he advertised for a wife in the Nation. Got thousands of applicants and selected a very hot kasupuu graduate. Wonder whether she's still alive given I hear alikanyaga high-tension transmission wire............
