Me and Guka are buddies. How it started or where it's going is none of your ferking biz. You enjoyed the show while it lasted. Now it's time to move on. A few days ago, a friend called me asking for a lunch date. Since I was free, I obliged. We met somewhere on Kiambu rd.
This friend had an ex whom they parted on good terms. He's married and the lady needed to settle, so she got a man and they decided to start a family. The lady has a kid from a previous relationship. She's married for two years, but hajazaa bado. They visited an doc and the problem was traced to the husband. He is a truck driver ( sisemi ni @Meria ) who once had a road accident that apparently affected his reproductive system. His sperm count is low but can be improved with drugs. So the doc recommended drugs which the guy has been faithfully taking for the last few months. And his count has increased to some extent.
Now these drugs aren't cheap, and the family can no longer afford to continue purchasing them. So the guy has given up and is ok with the kid from the wife's previous relationship. But the lady is not. The proposal from the lady, which the guy was sharing with me, is that he impregnate her kisniper. The lady assured him that she will never demand anything from him since the husband will be too happy thinking he's finally regained his fertility and therefore will take care of the child to the best of his ability. He wanted my humble opinion. I advised him to take this as CSR and service the lady as necessary. I even quoted Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902, right) in the famous quote "Service to Mankind is service to God".
Note that this lady and the husband are staunch christians and the lady isn't promiscuous. Just doing this for the sake of family unity.
Did I misadvise my friend?
