AHSANTE MERIA. BUY KENYA BUILD KENYA

Is this conjecture or reality? Have you ridden in the BJ50?
no, i have not.

i actually agree with everybody that there is no need to reinvent the wheel.
BUT only due to the fact that we/Africa are many years down the line of innovation and technology.

to me, there are many things that we import that we can manufacture here in Kenya or at least assemble them.
also make them suit our climate, roads,......

but seems we shall always dance to the tune of the welder of the technology. (i love what China is doing and wish them well in all aspects of technological advancement.

Your optimism and naivety will get you killed or seriously maimed one of this days. What is the point of reinventing the wheel, I always ask?
It's not reinventing the wheel but owning the technology, google the Yugo in 1977 and 2020 and also Jiefang CA-30, then you'd understand how nations develop when they cease relying on imports

The more the reason why I say naivety can easily get you killed. You don't seem to u derstand how cartels in collaboration with various regulators conspire to kill dreams at their infancy. There are several busybodies just waiting to strike. Wacha KRA, KEBS, NEMA, et al wasikie umeanza Kunukisha kitunguu. Utaitana. Do you know Philip Moi once had a cigarette brand that he had to sold up? Halafu ongea na Peter Kuguru ama Fai Amario wakuchapie vile hustle yao kulienda.

Make up your mind!!!
It's very difficult discussing slippery ideas.
Is the issue reinventing the wheel or bad governance?
All those guys you mentioned were crooks and con men and if you believe they were legit Investors you're either naive or ignorant or even worse both!

Phillip Moi used his father's power to steal and entrench himself in business, the other two manufactured poison, the less said about them the better.

I will assume you have comprehension issues and probably leave it at that. Interesting that you cant understand a very simple matter. Let me try to break it up for you. The BJ manufacturer is trying to conceptualise what has already been perfected elsewhere. Should he find a way out somehow, there are numerous hurdles deliberately placed by his potetntial competitors that he can't surmount. Comprehende?

I will assume you can't read otherwise we wouldn't be having this discussion.
What part of what I wrote didn't you understand???
Why don't you get someone to read out loud to you, that way, you get to comprende and not comprehende? 😁

China, South Korea, India and many other developing countries have done it before they have to use your words "conceptualised what has already been perfected elsewhere" and succeeded without the unfounded fear of " numerous hurdles deliberately placed by his potetntial competitors" Today they are serious competitors in the Auto market.
