The social control theory actually favors his current trajectory, We have judges including his deputy who have corruption allegations hanging on their heads but the SDA guy can't recommend action against them for reasons best known to him.

You know how JSC works? You know how several previous judges ave been removed? Nancy baraza? Unakumbuka Tunoi and all the processes alipitishiwa to be cleared? Na Ojwang? That's the process. But since macho nyanya wants to play politics, he needs the DPP prosecute thru a court of public opinion. And I can guess in future the DCJ will be cleared. Otherwise if they had a case agaisnt her ingepitishiwa JSC

The office of the ombudsman would end the imperial court, where it's the end all and be all on matters concerning it.
The social contract theory angle has some challenges:
Where has Jayden betrayed the public trust and authority to govern as is in the theory? Unless we are looking at it from a political angle and not a social one.

Kenyans do not want a Judiciary Ombudsman interviewed and shortlisted by a panel pinpointed by the President.

Neither do we want a Judiciary Ombudsman appointed by the President and reporting to the President, that is giving the President control of the Judiciary which didn't work well for Kenyans in the Moi error.

They have to, I think the postponement of signatures collection is a sign that a national dialogue on the same is going to happen first.

Let's start with the question, why do we elect the president or what's the mandate of the government to the society as posited by John Locke?
