Mulandi alinyakua mali mingi ya AP wakati wa vetting aliandika resignation letter. Jamaa anaishi kileleshwa ako hadi na shooting range side za mulolongo, kaunya yeye naskia alikua mwizi mzuri.
 
As a manager, I refuse to believe that officer Pamba was that dishonest and heartless. Managers on this forum will agree with me that the easiest way to earn enemies at the office is to demand accountability from everyone.
Hao police probably were used to making false claims until @Pamba 1 showed up and asked everyone to start accou ting for all nights outs and out of station claims.
Have held jobs where upon asking for the bar to be raised for everyone, enemies were born and serious allegations made against me;

  2. Ooh ni mwizi,
  3. Ooh anafikiri hii company ni yake,
  4. Na upusi mingi.
However, you learn to focus on the big picture regardless of the price to be paid.

Did you understand my comment? Cartels for example hated on Michuki because of his fondness for asking hard questions. Same way managers who are clear on the path they want to go will be hated on. Was pamba an angel, no. Was he quilty of all the things he is accused of? Debatable.

He ate people allowances, he wasn't managing them he was commanding them, in disciplined forces unlike in management, there is a no question asked policy, he was tasked with giving them their allowances as their commander and betrayed the trust by not paying them. It's that simple, I understand the challenges in management but that's not an excuse for denying your juniors their rightful allowance.
