May he rest in peace

@emali everything is covered in the statement 'May Allah grant him Jannah'
Entry into heaven is at the discretion of Allah based on your life on this earth...

@Anglututu you a religious scholar?
Not at all, but I strive to learn so I can pass on the correct message to anyone who asks, because the media and many people are working hard to push their own narrative about Islam without research from the correct sources.

Have you ever lost a very close friend or relative and see how their bereaved family is devastated and or how the lives of the family is affected in many ways? Hungesema hivo
we have all at some point in our lives... that shouldn't stop us from asking about this so called after life

Just to rectify your statement.
Heaven is not guaranteed, less for a few people who's qualities have been mentioned in the Qu'ran. We all work hard to get there, through our good deeds and worshipping God without partners or intercessors....
so the purpose of life is to work hard to get to heaven?

these kinds of arguments is why I am no longer a belieaver... always vague
Nothing is vague, you're not a believer because of the religion you were born in.
Had you been born a Muslim, your outlook would be different... The belief system is totally different from what the current churches preach, though the same as what Jesus peace be upon him preached .

I was born a Christian but I am no Christian now

may he rip? why is it sad news if he is to go to heaven? @Mayekeke explain please?
Only two different kinds of people go directly to jannah(heaven) upon their death, a mujahid and children below the age of puberty, the rest of us have to wait for qiyamah( judgement day) to know our fate, either heaven or hell.

The purpose of life is to worship Allah. Period!
