I have a close friend all her kids did home schooling. Sahii wako university

I would like to know how it works. Like transition from basic school to secondary or university. Examinations too. And recognition by our able professor Magogha.

Very many schools in Kenya offer the option of accommodating part time students. You can enroll a child for swimming, music, dancing or any other extra curricular lessons. It's not that hard if one is dedicated to work around things.

Some do some kind of pooling, a few families come together to homeschool their children together

During the Corona lockdown, my work place closed between April and August. I decided to try home schooling my two daughters (class 5 and grade 3). Huyo wa 5 we did so well and by August we had cleared class 5 syllabus in all subjects, she is generally very sharp.. Wa grade 3 struggled since it involved a lot of self reading, with me Just giving guidance and revision. It needed a lot of time from me.

This is where education should be where kids are given opportunity for discovery. 8-4-4 messed up by making kids recite things to pass an exam not to learn and internalize stuff for future use.
