Let me say this, Kenyans are idiots. They believe they are the smartest beings. They believe just because they have an opinion, they must air it.
Sometime back, the opinion was, for the government to drive development using taxes, it’s like trying to lift yourself using a bucket while you are standing in the bucket. So the government borrowed and now everyone is ape shit about it.
Sasa, the government is trying to stimulate the economy by placing money in the jua kali and everyone is apeshit about it too.
Everybody is an expert in economics right now and yet we are complaining there is no money and no jobs.
 
There is as much money in steel as there is in timber. Have you noticed the likes of Tononoka steel mill and Devki steel mill running multiple TV adverts during prime slots? Well, this is the windfall they have been angling for. Whenever you see a project touted as pro-poor, you can be certain 75% of the benefits will end up with the cartels.
