Was very tired today. Hii kazi ya akina Wakanyama sio rahisi ivo vile munadhani. Anyway, took a break nikasema niingie kwa nyumba kulala.

Slept from 4:45pm till 7pm. Now the strange phenonemon. When I woke up I felt sick. Nausea hivi. Feeling ya kutapika. Kuhara. Kuumwa na tumbo. Fever. Kizungu zungu.

After like 20-25minutes, nilirudi sawa kabisa.

Told jaber about this phenomenon akaniambia its the reason she doesn't do afternoon naps. Pia yeye akiamka she feels sickish.

Madaktari is that normal??.

Kuna time nimeingia bed for a nap around 5PM, niliamshwa na simu i just picked it up i think subsconsciously, the caller asks if i am still coming saa hizo in my mind i am thinking it is 2AM in the morning, i pull the curtains and it is indeed pitch dark with Nairobi's bright lights in the horizon, i check my watch inasema a few minutes past 8PM, i think in that confusion something went amiss because i started having palpitations, my heart is beating heavily and fast like akorino drums, i get abit sweaty na kwa umbali i feel as if i was going to faint.

I went out to catch some fresh air but wapi, the world doesnt stop spinning, i had to go to a hospital doc said i had a panic attack, a diazepam pill later i felt abit better.

And that is why i do not sleep earlier than 9PM and when i do i lock my phone away.

Hehehe...all you could have done is check the date on your phone and you would have been fine.
Meditation is a very good way to overcome such sensory overload and help you relax.

Reminds me of many years ago.. I was in campus and we had an early morning lecture 7 AM the following day by some old very racist lecturer so we always had to be extra punctual we walked on eggshells. So the day before we left the campus around midday. I get to my hostel which was a thirty minute bus ride away eat my lunch nikaweka ka movie kwa laptop and fell asleep. Woke up kitu 7 P M hapo kuna ka light na giza... my mind told me I had overslept that lecturer's class thinking it was morning already. wueh! Woke up confused hata sikuosha uso jumped out kama nimechukua bag rushing to the bus stop. On the way met some classmates who asked me where I was rushing to. Told them kwani hawaendi class, the guys burst out laughing told me its 7 PM bana nirudi hostel. I was half-relieved half-terrified as my heart was racing
