One a lesson you ought to learn, especially in these Rona times is that sometimes/ many times your money will not help you. You may afford to pay for ICU but there is no hospital bed. Hii maisha haina ati kujipanga. Shukulu Maulana Kama amekuondolea small challenges.

always sad to read such, sometimes life can deal one a cruel blow no matter how prepared one might think they are, kwanza when kids are involved. If a guy like papa, who I would assume is not a poor man can be messed up by the health system, hapa ni maombi tu, just hope you dont fall sick.
 
Mzee @Field Marshal leo hmeniangusha, you are talking as if when you are sick you have a choice, when told you wait till you turn covid negative is when you will be admitted means something is not Okey.
Even if you have that insurance no hospital will admit you. Who's fault is that, is it yours, the govt, the public hospital superintendents or the dry tits of Ruthigiti owners.
FYI you should be listening to sundowner deep in the Kijabe valleys as the disease has an affinity for old white cup imbibing folks

We ought to remember that Walibora died incognito at Kenyatta after waiting for an ICU bed for 14 hours. I bet he had the means to access the best health facilities but on this day, he was just another nameless Kenyan. Interesting how a passing ambulance refused to pick him after the accident because he was just a little-valued man lying on the street. I am sure they would have reacted differently had he suffered the accident while driving his car.

Tuki kashifu middle class, tuwapatie heko in equal measure pia when they deserve it. They pay the biggest share of government revenue (personal income tax) and they hardly use the social services. Its the same group that the village turns to wakati kuna harambee.
A good no. of this group will vote for Kivutha but their say will be drowned by the crowds votes for babu / mashamba.
