Every time a chopper crashes, you unleash this theory. Truth is that it' like talking of a jetliner 'gliding' to the ground: the conditions must be perfect, and the pilot - like Scully - must have 99% confidence and nerves, and just 1% luck.

But jetliners do glide, isn't this one of the reasons behind ETOPS? Yes conditions have to allow but both sets of aircraft are capable of their respective emergency procedures.

They don't mention their pay. Hio ni siri kali. But I believe pilots wako na flying allowance just like flying NIS, police airwing and Navy crewmen.
