Now that the objective has been achieved,finance bill is off. What are the options for ruto?
Will he govern peacefully? Will he restructure his government to win public trust?
Will he sacrifice some of his close soldiers to win back the trust?
Will he give kenyans the middle finger and continue like nothing ever happened?
And the big one,what are his prospects for reelection?

Whatever restructuring happens or not, winning trust, etc the damage has been done. Just walk into the market, then those mama Mbogas are in full throttle...

Yes, the have smart gadgets but always looking to you to extrapolate about various happenings.

He must have assumed things were back to normal after the food crisis partially subsided. Sasa itabidi afanye kazi watu waone mabadiliko. Without that hakuna campaign team inaweza muokoa.
 
We now have a lame-duck President leading our Country.
Ruto has, with one single stroke lost the Confidence and Respect of a large swathe of the Kenyan electorate apart from the Kalenjins and the Somalis mainly for reasons that needs no expounding.

Going forwards, Ruto will have to daily endure frustrations and humiliation as MPs defy him in droves in the sad realisation that he has lost the goodwill and requisite enforcement to govern and dictate affairs in his own terms.

He will need to bring Kamwana to his side otherwise Uhuru will revel daily in Ruto’s epic failure and end up having the last laugh, no pun intended at all.
Expect Uhuru to once again straddle the headlines as he plays both Riggy G and Ruto to their utter shame and embarrassment.

The assumption that led to Ndii calling Kenyans in twitter, online wankers; the surety and confidence of a solid electoral backing in the so called strongholds; has all been crushed to smithereens, it's either he shapes up or ships out. Don't I love the new Kenya
