  • At 00.50am on Wednesday trains carrying people out of the city began running
  • More than 50,000 people in Wuhan have been infected and 2,571 have died
  • Restrictions in city have dropped off in recent days as new infections have fallen
 
If they start roaming all over and mingling carelessly, they will be back to square one and Corona will hit them hard again.

Based on the number of people leaving I don't think it will make any significant dent on Wuhan's overall population.
I am more worried that those escaping the city are not being tracked until their final destinations. For fear of spreading the Wunan-Covid19 virus.

you don't know what u are talking about! right now China especially Wuhan and Beijing kuna biblical/666 level of tracking manze. There's an app you have to download on your phone to enable you to exist basically. it has a bar code that has 3 levels red orange and green, if yours is red, it means you are sick and until you are treated and tested again and confirmed to free of covid-19, then u can't leave hospital. If its orange, it means you were in close contact with an infected (red) person and you should be in isolation so you cannot be out on the streets, you are tracked like crazy and your close contacts too. you cannot even enter a shop to buy anything or board a taxi/bus. That's the level of tracking going on in China.

Good information YoungD . I admit, I don't know about the extent of the tracking within China but good to know you are on top of tracking news.
Will they keep tracking those leaving Wuhan and Beijing and eventually heading to Kenya or other African countries when flights start ? Hawa ndiyo nina waogopa.

International travel between most countries right now is restricted.

Also don't forget that most countries open their airports to allow their citizens to be repatriated back. What's to stop China from repatriating 50 Kenyans then filling the rest of the +200 seat plane with their people ? Our corrupt politicians would be paid off and look the other way.
