There was drama after a man tried to snatch an AK-47 rifle from a police officer who was busy at work on the reporting desk in one of the police stations in Uganda.
According to reports, the man, who is alleged to be a former Uganda Peoples Defence Forces Soldier(UPDF), sought refuge at the station, claiming that he had nowhere to spend the night after his bosses evicted him from his house.At around 1 am, he jumped from where he was sleeping and hit one of the officers with a helmet on his head, and tried to grab his gun.
