Nitazoxanide 200 mg is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic and antiviral medication used to treat various gastrointestinal infections. It is most commonly prescribed for diarrhea caused by protozoa, particularly Cryptosporidium parvum and Giardia lamblia, which are common in children and people with weakened immune systems. Nitazoxanide is also effective against certain bacterial and viral infections, and has been studied for use in treating rotavirus, norovirus, and even influenza. It works by interfering with the energy metabolism of parasites and viruses, helping the body eliminate the infection. Available in tablet and liquid form, it is generally well-tolerated with few side effects.

A long long time ago, a Wakanyama from a certain village suspected that he had intestinal worms. To get dewormer medicine, one needed to travel to a dispensary that was half a day away to and fro. So, that idea did not appeal to him as it would rob him precious time to care for his animals and crop.

Then a bright idea hit him. He had dewormed his cows a few months earlier and some of that stuff could still be traced in his crowded store room. "Why waste time looking for lotion where saliva can do?", he wondered to himself. He resolved to do the necessary and did it, like a man. However, and tragically so, he forgot to adjust the dose for his weight. And so, the dewormer medicine handled him like a 700 Kg bull. It wasn't pleasant. He almost passed out his pancreas. From that day, he wouldn't even take painkillers meant for somebody else.
