Moi Girls High School Eldoret students on Wednesday went on strike demanding the removal of the school principal Christine Chumba
They boycotted classes demanding an immediate removal of the principal, accusing her of harassing them and also mistreating their teachers
The students didn't damage any property
This is a genuine case of students communicating their grievances. The others we hear of dormitories seting themselves in flames as students are in class, are all SCANDALS
Of course we know the arsonists. In other non related news, Chamanenyu is a very sly character
After posing for romantic photoshoots with the tangatanga honchos the West Pokot Governor sat in the assembly to personally supervise how the constitution amendment bill is passed!
Lastly, the iconic Kisumu Boys and Kisumu Girls, a century old schools, are set for demolition to create space for expansion of the lake town
According to him, the institutions should be relocated to a location away from the hustle and bustle aura associated with the heart of every metropolis, to a serene environment conducive for learning, as the created room serve other important purpose in the city's expansion
I am not sure the school has complained of noise emanating from the adjacent bus-park, but I see this proposal getting very unpopular with the majority residents
To them this institution is a sacred landmark which must not be touched, if what Ibe read around is anything to go by.
