The idea that the BRICS Countries are trying to move away from the Dollar while we stand by and watch is OVER. We require a commitment from these Countries that they will neither create a new BRICS Currency, nor back any other Currency to replace the mighty U.S. Dollar or, they will face 100% Tariffs, and should expect to say goodbye to selling into the wonderful U.S. Economy. They can go find another “sucker!” There is no chance that the BRICS will replace the U.S. Dollar in International Trade, and any Country that tries should wave goodbye to America



It would be interesting to see how this plays out.

The American economy would suffer if major countries were to abandon the dollar for international trade. However the dollar itself is printed at will by unelected bureaucrats which affects other countries economies negatively, making them suffer for America's excesses.

The best outcome would be to back the dollar with actual assets of value like gold. Then maybe it can become more trustworthy.

It's funny that the Federal reserve is not owned by the United States government, but by Banks.

These tariffs are going to be an interesting tool to use in negotiations. It will test the real power of the American market for the next few years. But it's better to compete at the market than through the military, funding unreasonable never ending wars

Will China be willing to go to negotiations? If you are strong, and know you are, you don't dignify tantrums by negotiating with a bully. Sometimes you even play games with them like China did by geo-blocking Huawei technology so that when the US tried to acquire it through third parties like Hungary they found it couldn't work on continental north America.
For long, Yues thought they could enforce their desires with war but they are realizing that that option is no longer viable. Caucasians are only 13 per cent of the world population which means they would be seriously stretched in a world war that had BRICS and their sympathisers on the opposing side.

They will negotiate. As populous as china is they have unbalanced production, like the evergrande crisis, and their population growth rate is falling, which is making them worried.
