Bad pun attempt with the title of the post but someone's uncle just decided to convert their Toyota Wish into a fikapu

Very creative but;

• Does NTSA allow such a conversion?
• Isn't the structural integrity compromised?

Those fender flares are supposed to blend the body line with off-set wheels.
When used without much thought, as is the case here, the car ends up looking like someone with very small legs.
