This is Guka - Huu Ujinga of Our Security Forces Utaisha Lini?

Field Marshal

Elder Lister
For the record I respect our security agencies. They do a tough job without the requisite resources.

However, as you all know, I personally do not condone mediocrity and bonoboism. And these seem to be legion in our military and police.

Take the Camp Simba attack. Any communications specialist in the military must know that al Shabaab stream their attacks live to home base.

So, if you want to win the information war, Al Shabaab MUST must not be seen to be more truthful than you. They must NOT be seen to be giving a more credible narrative than yours. But what is the knee-jerk response of our military?

Deny, deny, deny. No casualties, no damage, nothing.

Next minute the al Shabaab releases pictures of flaming planes. A few hours later the Americans say three of their dudes are dead in the attack.

How does that leave you looking, KDF? Stupid, perhaps?

Grow the ferk up and learn the basics of communications warfare!!!!

PS: You would have thought that they would have learnt something from the days of Westgate's 'burning mattresses' fiasco, but wapi!

They cannot be entirely truthful because they loath acknowledging weaknesses and lapses, that way they do not need to be accounatable.

Henry Mitch Mayfield, 23, from Chicago is the serviceman who was killed by Alshaabab in Manda Bay, Lamu. His family has confirmed.

Rest in peace young youthful man
