Bobby Mapesa
Moses Oduma popularly known as Bobby Mapesa, was born on 25th of April, 1985 in Huruma, Nairobi County. He's a Kenyan hip hop recording artist, entertainer and a businessman.
He started recording music while in highschool where he & VBO formed a duo rap group called "The Bugz" and "Naskia Utam" was their hit back then. Other hits were:
- Wezere
- Kamoja Tu
- Superstar and many more.
The duo split up and VBO stopped making music and on the other hand, Bobby Mapesa continued with the journey and he was performing on events across the country.
Remember when Bobby beefed with Nonini over the song "Mtoto Mzuri"? Bobby claimed he had paid in full for the audio production (and didn't receive payments from what the song made) & cost shared on video production, story for another day.

Back to Bobby Mapesa. He joined hands with Calvo Mistari and formed a rap duo (BC) basically: Bobby & Calvo. They released this song "Tuzidi" on 14th March, 2016 and there was this viral line from Bobby Mapesa that said, "nilifyeka Mgenge kwa Mtoto Mzuri, akazaa ile Unit sahii imebeat" which was a direct diss. Si mnainauwo?
BC released several tracks together before going silent and Bobby has been silent till last year when he lost his mum, rest well mama. He released his latest song "Kibenje" 2 years ago. You should go & check it out.
Bobby Mapesa was known For his slow rap and not afraid of saying anything he wants to. This year Calvo amemshirikisha kwa doba yake mpya, Rudisha featuring Naiboi and Zero Sufuri. Wenye mlikua mkiuliza producer Dillie alienda wapi, ako kwa game. He's the one behind this dope music.
