Sonko fakes mothers grave for public sympathy

Sonko has been accused of fraudently claiming that a grave in Kikowani cemetery belongs to his mother.

During his campaign tour on Friday he took Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and a host of his legion of supporters to the cemetery and started crying showing them a grave purportedly belonging to his late mother.

It turns out that the grave is of a local Muslim woman whose son has made an angry public statement to the Media warning Sonko to keep his politics away from sensitive matters of the deceased.

My pips on the ground in Mombasa tell me sonko has a realistic chance of winning. Sio bure hao waarabu wanamuingilia hivo and IEBC has said that he can run as long as his cases are on appeal.
