So where are all your MPs/Leaders when they are needed most?

Once the catastrophe that is COVID-19 is over, and our now silent politicians come back loudly with sermons about how BBI will solve all of Kenya’s problems, I pray Wanjiku shall remember their silence and call out their FUCKING BULLSHIT!

What, kind Sir, do you expect those windbags to say? It is sad that we have allowed ourselves to be swung this way and that way by the useless daily drama of the numbskulls...then we spend the next few days discussing their good for nothing shenanigans - and tragically losing our THINKING TIME in the process.
It is profoundly saddening that a lot of us have come to look up to them to solve our problems in spite of their letting us down time and again. They create slogans and we end up dancing, or even worse, arming ourselves.
We need to wean ourselves of the con artists

I would not be so harsh on our leaders - they are a reflection of the wider community. I have said here and elsewhere over and over again - the problem with Kenya is its people, especially the young people. You don't have to go far to see this, just go to kijiji ya vijana. Endless matusi, whining against gavament, entitlement, and brothel threads. Basically, nothing constructive, intelligent, innovative, constructive. Instead of celebrating an honest guard who returns lost money, for example, they ridicule and condemn him (I have a younger brother from another matha called Buluma of BrandAfrica Creative - if you want design services inbox, everyone - who was so disgusted by the responses of young people on FB about the guard that he has quit the site). Problem is, those young people form 70% of the population, which is why we have the likes of Sonko and Waititu elected.
