Schools refusing to refund deposit

Nijikute🤣🤣 but true story, a relative was lamenting about having issues getting refund from a school called Rophine yet their child cleared class 8 and was cleared having returned all school property. Been told ati the child must first get admission to high school. bull crap. And the way the school does well, was number 2 in Nairobi county after Newlight

One thing Folks easily forget is that Schools don’t have monies all the time. They get their cash flows at the beginning of the terms when fees are paid.

That’s when they pay teachers, suppliers and debts….That could be the reason for this.

The schools could always communicate this to the parents, tell all class 8 and form 4 leavers to show up after a certain date for your deposit refunds eg second week of the term. Simple
