Safaricom has launched 5G Wifi internet, It is an alternative to its home fibre and 4G Wifi service. The telco giant will target residences and commercial offices in areas that are not currently served by its fibre network. So far it's only available in few buildings in Nairobi, Kiambu, Thika, Machakos, Kajiado, Kisumu, Mombasa, Kisii and Kakamega.
it has 3 monthly bundles: 10mb/s at Sh3,500 (300GB) 40mb/s at Sh6,000 (500GB) 100mb/s at Sh15,000 (1000GB) To get Safaricom's 5G Wifi you'll need a 5G router which goes for Sh25,000 plus a Sh5,000 installation and setup fee.
