Police officer stabs school bursar in row over school fees in Kitui.

Police in Mwingi, Kitui County, have arrested a colleague who is said to have stabbed a school bursar in a row over school fees. Mwingi Central OCPD Peter Mutuma said Haji Boru on Monday went to Mwingi Boys Secondary School, where his son studied, and claimed a cash refund of extra money that had been paid through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). Chaos broke after the bursar, identified as Alex Mwanzia, informed Mr. Boru that the money could only be transferred to his son’s college fees account. The officer reportedly forked out a knife and stabbed the accounts controller near his left armpit. He is currently admitted at a local private hospital as he awaits to record a police statement. Boru is meanwhile held at the Mwingi Police Station awaiting arraignment.

Mambo iko ngumu ,by the way i foresee a scenario where in the next few years we might have a shortage of professionals in some areas.I have noted a trend where some professionals are looking for green pastures in other countries .Also the graduates are frustrated in settling in startups and employment .If only some embassies would give statistics on visa applications ndio tunaweza jua what awaits us especially statistics from UK,Australia, Canada and USA

Hapo umebonga, so many people requesting for Passport application services (how to fasten the process ala greasing palms). Suprisingly am seeing a lot of Rwandese, Drc immigrants hustling in the streets. A loud mouthed oga hawks necklaces so I don't know whether it's Kenyans who are not resilient or we just want the soft life.

Kenyans are resilient. Bei ya stima, bei ya food, bei ya transport/fuel imepanda yet not a single protest on the streets! European countries like Italy, France,Germany,UK, Belgium have several protests over the cost of living. Their governments are listening and are subsidising some costs.
