kijabe area around 10, those going to west of the country hakuna night travel, kila mtu ni asubuhi but this government act as if covid walks at night only, waache watu wasafiri ,wangefunga tu clubs na hotels , .
am sure next weekend traffic will be very bad on A109.

Remember the Chinese spread covid also during their new year...
 
Today was a nightmare.... yaani ata mat zilikuwa zinabeba excess watu wakienda ocha and the traffic was insane .

Kenyan Roads classification system is a simple leftover colonial classification classification system. Roads classified simply as A, B, C, D, E and F. Although I have never seen as any road or street classified as F. A roads usually followed by 3 numerical numbers are roads joining a border point to the capital e.g. A104 (from Nairobi to Malaba and A109 from Nairobi to Namanga) B roads join provinces eg from Nairobi to Magadi, C inter-districts e.g. Langata Road and Ngong Road, D inter-location e.g Outer Ring Road and James Gichuru Road, E inter-locations e.g Lenana Road.

Last numeral odd, road heads south, Last numeral even, road heads north). A road can find itself classified as A, B and C at the same time. eg. Uhuru Highway and Thika Highway. I don't know if anyone reviews or is in charge of this classifications any more. A,B,C roads are supposed to be maintained by the national government and C, D, E and F by the Provincial (county government unless such roads as part of A, B, C as stated above). E road can be as nice Lenana Road in Nairobi at the same time as bad as cattle trail in Kitui.

I used to ask the same question but all it takes is one vehicle stalling on the road or an accident. Most likely mtu aliguzwa nyuma and they are parked in the middle of the road waiting for I don't know what.
 
The only thing that will bring sanity to our roads is instant fines and points system, where the points are deducted from your license for every offence and total cancellation of the license for a person who depletes their points.

itabidi mtu atoke before 7 a.m. to be on the safe side, juu afternoon everybody is on the road, kila mtu husema within 2hrs lazma awe amefika nairobi.
