I agree with you to some extent.

But also we need to understand why these kids are burning down their school campuses.

Perhaps an in depth investigation into the reasons for such behavior and issuance of guidelines to all administrations on how to manage these situations when they happen again.

Also, this isn't a new phenomenon.

Its been happening since the 70's.

Why only in Kenya? And no, it did not happen that much in the 70s and 80s. Few fe isolated incidents, some caused by faulty wiring...

I think you are misremembering the past because you are letting the nostalgia of the time cloud your memory.

There was a lot of unrest.

Also, there was only 4 tv channels and 6 radio stations and 4 newspapers.

Fewer schools as well.

That's why you might be thinking that way.

A new generation requires new ways of dealing with their new and unique problems.
