on road traffic enforcement to increase compliance with the provision of the Traffic Act and PSV Regulations.

The operation is set to target all forms of non-compliance to the Traffic Act and relevant regulations.

Among the traffic violations of interest include:

1.Operating without a valid Road Service Licence (RSL)
2.Operating expired/without a PSV badge
3.Operating without a uniform
4.Operating without a driver’s licence
5.Operating without a reflective jacket
6.Operating without a helmet
7.Operating uninsured motor vehicle
8.Excess pillion passengers
9.Worn out tyres
10.Contravening insurance
11.Defective motor vehicle
12.Exceeding the speed limit
13.Operating without an inspection sticker
14.Operating without a speed governor
15.Unroadworthy motor vehicle
16.Obstruction, reckless driving and lane indiscipline

Beginning next week (28th February, 2022), the operation will include:

1.Un-prescribed number plates.
2.Installation of throb lights.
3.Installation of flashing lights.
4.Vehicles with foreign plates without motor vehicle foreign permits.
5.Illegal PSVs - Usiku Sacco, Voxy, Sientas, Probox, etc.
6.Regional specific violations.
7.Speeding miraa ferrying vehicles in Meru and Embu.
8.Unlicensed tuktuks in Nairobi, Mombasa and their environs.
9.Sugar cane ferrying vehicles in the western region (sugar growing regions).

on 28th Feb by 9am if they are serious msako itaanza we shall call Baba and they will be withdrwan from the roads

They have to be stopped but it wont happen in 2022, in Kanairo gojea hawkers wako karibu to take over all the pavements and half the roads ata Nairobi ya juu na Kanju will do nothing about it.
