All the stuff they are afraid will happen to them is what they are currently doing to others.

They increased sanctions on Iran at the height of Covid-19 outbreak there. Were it not for EU circumnavigating the sanctions to provide basic medicines, Iran ingekua mbaya saidi.
 
And i don't think there is anything like a balanced relationship between world powers, there will always be a tussle between world powers

But once your populace becomes rich and their basic needs are all met, they start to get aspirational. They start to demand their voices be heard when decisions that affect them are made. They start wanting to have a say on who leads them.......

Capitalism should be done away with as well

This goes down to the roots of us as humans, we are inherently greedy and selfish, if everyone is given a house and a car and a job, we still won't be satisfied and will want to be above one another, i don't have the answer, perhaps limited capitalism like the way china does it

China has only been out of a dominant position for around 200 yrs. Prior to that, it was almost a millenium of them being on top. Shida ni, most of the history that the current world has been taught is Eurocentric. Therefore even the idea that China was once a dominating force in this world is lost on most.
