Very strong considering ground zero was on land near one of those cities/towns. By comparison, the 2011 Japanese Tsunami was caused by a 9.0 which was located miles away in the ocean and look at the damage it caused.

This disaster has really shifted attention. I've not heard of the ferkin Ukrainian war today. BBC have for one hour stopped broadcasting normal news to concentrate on this. It is that bad!
