The Chinese virus may have come with a silver lining. Let's not lie to ourselves that e-learning that is being championed by CS Joe Mucheru is working. Therefore it appears more likely that the school kids may have to repeat this year. But they don't have to if the school calendar is changed. I have always been against term one beginning in January when people are broke and stuff..Let the school year begin somewhere in the middle of the year.
 
Hauko serious bana. Unafkiri the way the govt of Kenya got no plan to deal with corona shule ztafunguliwa June? What will make a change in the coming days now that daily story for the last one month the has been the same: announce deaths/infections etc, tell people to be careful.
 
Am talking about starting the school year afresh. Whether itaanza June or September. December watoto waende a 2 weeks break and by January 5th they are back continuing the term.
 
When President Uhuru Kenyatta suspended learning on March 15....
Ndio wanemaliza 1 month, equivalent to August holidays. Wakimaliza 2 months then school year will be affected badly

Prof said that kids have just lost the last two weeks of the exams which can be recovered. He proceeded to say that kids are actually on April holiday.
My opinion is ,we might slowly resume in May but subject to the outcome of mass testings
