LEST WE FORGET. MONGREL THE MUSICIAN

thanks fellow ndeiyan, hau hathiro nindirigwiterie ruhia rwa muratina
Thiiru was my step-grandpa. Am named after his blood-brother. If I tell you the story, going back to around 1915, you won't believe it. But Kikuyus used to leave infants by their dead mathas if the matha died before the kid was like 1-2 years. Thiiru was left next to his mathas corpse but one of my step great-grandmathas who was childless pleaded with the elders "Ndamuthaitha heii gaka gakandungata ukuru".

And Thiiru, like Moses of the storybook, was saved, and later became 'gitonga gia itura'. Reason why that stage is named after him.

Now you know we are real dynasties.............
