If it sheds any light on this I've read accounts of zukabaga and Obama only having several clothing of the same kind Kwa wardrobe. The human brain has a limited capacity, so if you can minimize the number of decisions you make in a day you can focus on more the important stuff, rather than what I will wear today.

There was a time i had 5 black trousers then decided to change and slowly changed to 5 green ones, after changing i now have beige/khaki-ish. I gave up. How i come to buy same colour sijui

Come to think of it, I have suits I have never worn for a few years now, most from being a groomsman at weddings for pals and relaz.
It's time I gifted the 'soldiers' in our estate court coz my most consistent attire at corporate events has remained to be one special tux I wore in a very special event years ago.

Hazitoki fashion, my blazers of suits from similar events, some have three buttons and now look baggy, the trousers some have pleats.they end up forming a stash of unwearable bygone clothes.
