Why masks work:

● The COVID particle is 100 nanometers -- 0.1 micron.
● Basic surgical masks holes are 0.3 to 10 microns, which is 3 and 100 times bigger than the virus.
So how does the mask stop the virus?
● The virus needs to travel, but has no legs (or wings).
● So it "rides" on the mucus droplets emitted into the air when people breathe or cough.
● Those droplets average 360 microns. -- 3.6 times BIGGER than the holes in the mask.
● So, the mucus droplet is the horse and the COVID particle is the rider.
● The mask stops the horse -- and the rider.
