I have maintained that the BBC is one of the most racist global media organizations in the world. They are steeped in imperial hubris and institutional prejudice against 'natives'. So you will find half their African stories revolve around the same old stereotypes - sex, gender violence against women, and wars. Or this kind of BS which basically demean the African person. You will be hard-pressed to get stories on say the Nigerian/Nairobi/Johannesburg stock exchanges on their site.
