Social media is a space where anybody can pretend to be glamorous and fashion-forward. Through social media, many have managed to display themselves as financially stable while on the contrary, they are struggling to make ends meet.

Kenyan celebrities have embraced the art of flaunting. They'll pretend to own high-end cars and put on fake designer clothes. They do this in an attempt to earn respect along the celebrity lines.
