@Nattydread here is the history of Kenya's debt. From 2012 to 2017, the debt had increased by 2.71 times. But you chose to see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil. Instead, you woke up at 3am much earlier than the local cockerel to punish someone by sending him to Bondo as instructed.

2012 December- Kshs 1.79 trillion (Kibaki)
2013 December- Kshs 2.11 trillion
2014 December- Kshs 2.47 trillion
2015 December- Kshs 3.15 trillion
2016 December- Kshs 3.82 trillion
2017 December- Kshs 4.5 trillion
2018 December- Kshs 5.2 trillion
2019 December- Kshs 6.04 trillion

So what happens referendum ikiingia na kila mtu ata loosers waingie serikali? Na serikali iongezeke pia

Notice how politicians in this country disrespect and downplay the role of professionals and experts, the chair should have been a distinguushed economist or a titan in the world of commerce, someone who has the inside track and wouldnt need to have to pause proceeding when the going gets technical, no disrespect to Rao but on matters economy he cannot hold a candle to people like Dr. Kituyi or Dr. Ndii.

Same thing is happening with our covid19 response where the CS seems to have more influence than epidimiologists despite the fact that he is a complete novice in the medical world.

It would be best if roles that require technical knowledge were left to the experts, people who need to perform excellently for the sake of their reputations and will do their best to enhance it.

This economic recovery council will achieve very little. Everyone knows the economic mess of 2013-2017 will take several years to recover from. The biggest problem in kenya is not wage bill. Its corruption.
Put it rightly. They will achieve nothing.......in @Luther12 voice....Uhuru should have told Kenyans in 2013 that Rao is an expert in economic recovery sio mchawi, tungekuwa mbali.

What is exactly your point. I already said that Kibaki's road map was not adhered to.
