After 2 years of hard work and penny-pinching, I finally achieved my dream of upgrading from my humble, mud-built single room to a ‘luxurious’, stone-built double room with piped water (though no electricity). My new abode was located in a secluded row of just four houses with a front-slanting roof, and I was lucky enough to be situated in the last one. The landlord occupied the first two, while the third one remained empty. The privacy and cleanliness were a big plus, and I was now much closer to my workplace. In my former residence, I would walk about 5 kilometers to work. This had now reduced to just 1 kilometer.

After about 3 months, my idyllic living situation changed suddenly when a childless couple moved into the third house. Every other night, I was jolted awake by the sound of the wife pleading with her husband not to kill her. The harrowing screams would eventually subside, only to be followed by normal conversation and occasional bursts of laughter. At first, I was certain that some intervention was needed. But the laughter that would follow made me hesitate from confusion. I couldn't help but wonder if my new neighbors were, in fact, psychos. Well, I didn’t know. It took me some time to discover what the wailing was about. All on my own. And that was before the internet. You might laugh at me but I can assure you that the likes of Black Templar have no idea what I’m talking about.

After figuring out what was happening, my nights became restless. It happened that the landlord was living with a female relative who was firmly into the proverbial wall. It didn’t take long for me to start thinking practically. Well, she was much taller me, not big, but pretty wide where it matters. She also looked pretty used if I may add. But I was a man in need. She still holds the record of the widest river I have ever crossed.

I could not leave you without a depiction of the approximate size.
