Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been barred from vying in the 2022 presidential poll.

IEBC reported that the former vice president had failed to meet all the commission's requirements.

The commission has trimmed down the list of aspirants to sixteen candidates, including Raila Odinga, William Ruto and George Wajackoyah.

IEBC says they disqualified Kalonzo from the presidential race because he listed his running mate as FEMALE instead of MALE, among other many errors
 
Wajackoyah had a full list of supporters from 17 counties out of the required 24 but was allowed till Thursday to fix it. If Wajackoyah has been given time to submit signatures from the remaining 7 counties, then Kalonzo (and all others who had issues) should be accorded the same privilege. Food for goose is food for gander. Otherwise, mbona mmoja apewe muda ila si wengine?
