Why not get a device made specifically to withstand the voltage we use? Nenda pale souq.com. They're owned by Amazon but ship out of Dubz. The tv sets on there have voltage+colour system that is similar to KE's.Poa Mkubwa i thought inaweza kua na changeover voltage

The voltage in KE will fuck it up.
Hata kuna voltage regulators with 110v output. Also modern electronics using switching power supply automatically accepts 110v to 220v.Stepdown transformer 220V-to-110V ya 50W ni sh1,100 pekee wacha kutisha mjamaa.

Hizo za $15 huwa ovyo. Kama huwa unawatch tv for long hours haitasurvive. Huwa zinaiva kama oven...Stepdown transformer 220V-to-110V ya 50W ni sh1,100 pekee wacha kutisha mjamaa.

Tvs don't use those transformers anymore and they accommodate from 110v ac to 240v ac ±10%I still don't understand why someone would order all the way from the USA and then struggle with power supplies. If the source is Amazon, why not Amazon UK or DE?

Kuna automatic dual and manual. Most devices currently with switching power supply are generally automatic dual but devices with discrete transformers like amplifiers microwaves etc are the problem for instance hp and dell laptops are imported from amazon USA yet the chargers works fine here.Be careful with electronics purposely built for the North American market. They do not always provide dual voltage, because it's not common for the products to be exported.

I agree.@Thermistor,
I know that they exist, but the OP must ascertain that the specific TV he wants has the feature before placing his order.
Why not get an LG tv equivalent to this? LG's bought in the states work just fine here without any step down converter.View attachment 2380View attachment 2381Kuimport iyo bidha total cost itakua ngapi
