I have found out that kids learn from example not opinion, so if you as the parent have an inclination towards books so will they.but will that really deter this generation or human race that's devoid of attention right from birth?
maybe it would be "easier" to just ban the forums where the pictures/videos are posted.
also, let's not forget that movies also spread the same message.
but let's wait and see, we are in a trial and error period.
tough world to live in especially if you have kids
I agree. Been bombarding the youngin with books and insisting that he tell me which book he is reading and what it is all about...he will learn to love them. By force by fire.I have found out that kids learn from example not opinion, so if you as the parent have an inclination towards books so will they.
Television is a marketing tool and a haven for mediocrity and vulgarity, not so with books.

I doubt that will work, see books are a change of perception.I agree. Been bombarding the youngin with books and insisting that he tell me which book he is reading and what it is all about...he will learn to love them. By force by fire.
I read voraciously. And while I am not forcing it,he asked for his first book. I bought 7 for him. The by force by fire comes in where I want to know whether he is reading them ama nilikuwa nachezwa... These youngins ain't as slow as we might decieve ourselves into believingI doubt that will work, see books are a change of perception.
For a while you get to live and breathe the author's thoughts, you can't force that kind of magic. If you aren't into it so will your kid, these little minds sense it.
Ah then that's admirable, I hope they follow your lead and see books for what they are.I read voraciously. And while I am not forcing it,he asked for his first book. I bought 7 for him.
