GPU wars and the scourge of crypto mining

I hate how crypto mining has caused the price of GPUs to go up, and to be honest crypto mining adds no value to the economy, it's just using real energy to acquire something virtual (proof of work), there are more valuable things that these GPU's could be used for such as gaming, rendering, video editing and the likes. Nvidia seems to be making a lot of money that's why they are siding with the miners and spreading misinformation like this:

experts are saying that the crypto bubble will burst and prices will crash down but the end is not in sight. I have come to hate anything crypto/blockchain related, in most cases it's a scam.

I understand how you are feeling. I have a gaming rig on standby waiting for a GPU and even worse, due to covid, the cost of importing shot up as well.

On the idea of many projects in crypto being scams, if you are a newbie you will probably encounter this a lot because scams/rug pulls have the best marketing since they shoot up in value very quickly. The ol' pump and dump.

I am a crypto veteran with close to 5 years experience so I can differentiate scams from legit projects. In fact right now, I am in the process of cashing in on some gaming NFT's that netted me around $10,000+ easy.

Doubting Thomas, why would I need to lie. I am not looking for customers and I am not looking for people to give me their money.

I am not surprised though why people are hesitant. Siku za klost nilikuwa naongea za Forex and people even now still consider that a scam. 🤣

Yes. The basic description of NFT's is anything that is not crypto tokens. You can tokenize art, music, etc. I would advice you to research online especially youtube videos to learn more.
